Day Two

Today was a day of laziness.

We had a wake up call for 8:00 a.m., but there isn’t a clock in the room and we hadn’t reset my watch or anything. So, when my Dad knocked on our door and woke us up - because the view was awesome, which it was - we asked him what time it was and he said, "nearly 8 and look, I bought you a majestic mouse." Okay, then. We get up, look outside and see this:

We decide to forgive my dad for waking us up, because, seriously, we now have a moose mascot. We’ve been trying to carve our initials into it, but it keeps biting us. Mind you, mouse bites can be very painful.

The phone rings while we’re on the balcony and I figure, hey, it’s our wake up call, but no, it’s my mom, making sure we looked out and saw the view. We went back out and looked some more, took more pictures.

Phone rings again, I’m still thinking wake up call, but it’s my mom again, still making sure we went out and letting us know they’re going to go get breakfast. At this point, I’m wondering where the hell’s our wake up call, so I ask her what time it is and she says, "hm, about 7:20." I would like to take this time to note that 7:20 is nowhere near 8:00, especially for two people who are strung out on lack of sleep and coming down from a stress high. Several deep breaths later, we went and had breakfast, then went to talk to wedding coordinator who informed me that there were no wedding reservations. Apparently, someone messed up somewhere and I nearly have a panic attack, because this so cannot happen now, when I’m actually supposed to be relaxing for the first time in since Erica left for maternity leave almost a year ago. She promises to figure everything out and get back to me tomorrow and me and walked around the ship, take a nap, go in search of lunch stuff and end up getting a sushi snack, taking another nap, having lunch, taking another nap. Insert random scenery shot.

Now, at this point, we’ve had a lot of sleep, but we’re still exhausted. My brother knocks on the door and it turns out our dinner time started fifteen minutes ago and it’s a formal night. Five minutes later, we’re in dresses, make-up and heals (yeah, get your laughs out now). After a fabulous dinner, we went shopping for Ash. I wanted to buy him a toy for tomorrow. While we were there, my dad bought me another stuffed toy (seriously, he thinks I’m like three), only this time bought me a little Eskimo girl. I don’t know her name yet, but she’ll be coming back to Hell with me. She slaughtered her entire village, babies first, and feasted on the unborn fetus’s in a display of worship. I’m flattered, really, but now I must drag her evil-ass south with me at the end of the week.

Now, we’re tired - actually more like exhausted - but we don’t realize what time it is, so we stay up for another hour/hour and a half watching adult swim (don’t judge, it was the StarWars Robot Chicken special). When we realized what time it was, despite the fact that it was still nice and bright out, we decided to get to bed as we wanted an early start tomorrow. Now, I wanted to put another scenery shot here, but really, it was nothing but ocean. So, instead, you get a picture of the yaoi that made my bag weigh three pounds too heavy for the plane. Oh yeah.
